What is it?
Lurex3 is a patent-pending mosquito attractant that mimics naturally occurring human skin scents or odors known to attract mosquitoes.

This EPA-registered product is the only attractant developed for the Asian Tiger Mosquito. It has been designed for use with all Mosquito Magnet Traps and Newer Skeeter Vac SV3000, SV3100, SV5000, and SV5100 units.

Made in the U.S.A.

What does it attract?
Lurex3 attracts mosquitoes, particularly the Asian Tiger Mosquito, a day biter, and other species that may transmit diseases such as West Nile Virus, Encephalitis and Heartworm.

Our studies have shown that Lurex3 out catches octenol by 3:1 on the Asian Tiger Mosquito.

The insects are attracted by the carbon dioxide and the Lurex3 and are drawn to the Skeeter Vac trap where they are captured, then dehydrate and die.

Which attractant is right for you?
Those who live in the Southern regions of the U.S. and in Hawaii, where the main types of biting insect pests include the day-biting Asian Tiger Mosquito and other mosquito species as well as no-see-ums and black flies.

Coastal areas in the Southern regions, however, should use the attractant Octenol. There have been recent spottings of the Asian Tiger mosquito in Northern regions. If you have tried Octenol and are still getting bit, try Lurex3.
